In 2011 Wilshire Boulevard Temple embarked on the most significant redevelopment project of any synagogue in America. With restoration of our magnificent Sanctuary, and construction of new school buildings, a tikkun olam center, and recreation facilities, we transformed the entire city block on which our historic Temple Campus stands into the most vibrant center of Jewish life in Los Angeles—a vital Jewish village, and an oasis for our neighbors, in the heart of the city.

Brawerman Elementary School East, opened it's brand new, state-of-the-art classrooms and recreational facilities in 2015 where Brawerman students learn, worship, perform, and celebrate together. Our fully restored, historic Sanctuary and its iconic Warner Murals are effective tools in students’ Torah, art and history studies.

Joint programming with both Brawerman East and West allows students the opportunity to experience our diverse, multicultural Wilshire Center neighborhood, as well as our historic campus.
